Data we collect

• Reservation form: name, email, phone (optional), date, time, party size, and any notes you submit when booking a table.
• Anonymous usage data: pages visited, country, device type, referrer, and Core Web Vitals — collected without cookies via Cloudflare Web Analytics.
• Anonymous interaction data: aggregated click maps and anonymised session recordings via Microsoft Clarity. Form inputs (names, emails, phone numbers) are automatically masked by Clarity and never transmitted.

Why we collect it

• To contact you back about reservations.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
• To prevent spam and abuse on the reservation form.

Who processes the data on our behalf

• Netlify — hosts the website and stores form submissions.
• Resend — sends reservation notification emails.
• Cloudflare — provides privacy-friendly traffic analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity — provides anonymised UX analytics.
• Sanity — stores editable site content (no visitor data).

Data retention

• Reservation submissions are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.
• Analytics data is aggregated and retained according to each provider's default policy.

Your rights under the GDPR

You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, or data portability of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights or for any privacy question, contact reservations@baronspub.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. The only data stored in your browser is a small preference flag for your chosen language (EN/PT), used only to remember your choice on subsequent visits.
